Riveting and clinching machines, bought at auction and out of plant closures, put through our shop, and sold on to people who still run this kind of work. Most of them are no longer built by the companies whose name is on the casting.
Section 01 / By process
Three families
These are the families that turn up in duct, fitting and sheet metal shops. Which one is right depends on the joint you need and the fastener, if any, that you want in it.
Family 01
Presses that feed and set a rivet through the work. This covers the bulk of what passes through our floor — bench and floor-standing machines, in a range of sizes and drive types.
The machine is only half the answer; the anvil, jaws, pocket and driver have to suit the rivet you are setting.
Family 02
Forms the rivet head progressively rather than in a single impact. A different look to the finished head and a different feel at the joint, which is why some assemblies specify it.
We deal in several orbital riveting platforms alongside conventional rivet setters.
Family 03
Join sheet to sheet by forming the material itself into an interlock. No separate fastener is consumed, which changes the consumable picture and the appearance of the joint.

Brands we handle
Which specific models are on the floor changes constantly — machines arrive from auctions and plant closures, get worked on, and go out again. So this page lists what we deal in rather than a fixed catalogue. Ask and we will tell you what is actually here.
One of the names we handle most often. Machines come to us used, get assessed, and are graded, refurbished or broken for parts depending on what we find.

Out of production
That single fact is the reason a used-equipment dealer matters in this trade. When a rivet press that has run a duct line for thirty years finally needs a replacement, there is no order form at the original manufacturer. There is a used machine, in some condition, somewhere — and someone who knows which one you want.
